Kern River Golf Course is located in the Northeast side of Bakersfield and nestled up against rolling hills of the Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Best full public course in bakersfield. Better than what you'd expect from Bakersfield public courses. Pretty wide fairways but most par 4s play pretty long.
It's a fun course as it lies alongside the Kern River and Lake with some hills and terrains. Don't worry, there are no water hazards on the course.
